The Village of Linden Heights

Regular price $26.00 $0.00

Incorporated in 1908, the Village of Linden Heights started out as a small and modest country village.  She grew up quick though, turning into a quaint middle-class neighborhood after being annexed by Columbus in 1921.  Residents worked at the factories nearby, and even had their own businesses on their main commercial strip on Cleveland Avenue.  Unfortunately, Columbus didn’t take care of her.  A lack of sidewalks didn’t help and then the construction of I-71 cut her off from the rest of the city.  Characterized by the WWII style housing that made the neighborhood so attractive in the first place, the Village of Linden Heights as we like to call it still has that middle-class work ethic though.  So watch out y’all, the Village of Linden Heights is making her comeback.
