Bronzeville King-Lincoln

Bronzeville King-Lincoln

Regular price $26.00 $0.00

As the center of the jazz movement in Columbus, the King-Lincoln District as Mayor Coleman called it in the 2000’s, was actually known as Bronzeville.  Bronzeville was the epicenter of flourishing African-American culture, businesses, and entertainment with amazing venues like the Lincoln Theater and Pythian.  Vibrant and lively, the neighborhood stumbled when they decided to separate it from the downtown by 71 which made some residents begin to move out to the ‘burbs.  But fear not, she’s making a comeback and hopefully we’ll be able to keep that jazz and soul that made the neighborhood to center of entertainment in Columbus.
