Columbus Railway, Power & Light

Columbus Railway, Power & Light

Regular price $26.00 $0.00

Back before Columbus was overtaken with highways slicing and dicing the downtown, we were all connected with a fantastic streetcar system.  Originally started in 1888, the streetcar system grew and merged companies and changed names until it became the on-and-only Columbus Railway, Power, and Light.  In 1937, it Changed to the Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric Company, who dismantled the system until it was gone (BOO!!!).  Columbus is no the largest city in America with no form of rail for residents.  Until she comes back, here's to the streetcar, may she rest in peace.
