The Heart of Campus
Every college has a quad (or should), and Ohio State’s is no different. At 11 acres, the oval-shaped green space isn’t just a quad, it’s a representation of campus life. Used for sunbathing, frisbee, reading, and just whatever else, the heart of campus has been a place for feel-good vibes since around 1901. Originally, the University wanted to pave a geometric sidewalk, but they didn’t have any money. So, students made their own paths and today we have that unforgettable space that gives that quintessential campus experience.
